Narrative Description of Assignment -

The Judiciary engaged CYMA Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants as consultants to assist in the establishment of an effective and efficient accounting system and also make recommendations on the inadequacies so identified.
- Adequate accounting records which facilitate good report generation:
- Relevant and meaningful information is obtained;
- Useful and cost effective information is generated;
- Controls are enshrined within the system enabling checks and balances. - Safe guarding the assets of the Judiciary;
- Timely Preparation of financial statements
- Compliance with statutory requirements enshrined in the Judicature Administration Act.
- Compliance with statutory requirements enshrined in the Public Finance Act.
