Chintu has over 30 years practical experience in the financial profession obtained both in the public and private sectors of the Zambian economy. He has been managing partner at CYMA since 2000.

He has held various positions during his 30 year plus career which include Audit Manager at KPMG, where he was audit manager for the audit of the Parastatal, ZCCM: he has held the Chief Financial Officer Position at Cavmont Merchant Bank, National Savings and Credit Bank (NATSAVE), and Zambia National Oil Company. He was Executive Director at Cavmont Merchant Bank.

He has been lead consultant on several forensic audits which include; Zambia State Insurance Corporation and the Examination of Zambia Pension Funds, forensic investigation of retail transactions at Stanbic Bank, forensic investigations of branch transactions at NATSAVE.

Other similar assignments he has managed include the Medical Stores Limited country wide verification and coding of inventory and inventory operating systems; Kara Counselling and Partners country wide fixed assets verification and systems validation exercise.

Chintu has served on a number boards that include ZESCO Ltd, Securities and Exchange Commission, ZANACO PLC., Zambia Centre for Dispute Resolutions, Law Association of Zambia, Cavmont Merchant Bank, to name but a few. He also served as Chairman for the Zambia Centre for Dispute Resolution Ltd and the Securities and Exchange Commission boards, Vice Chairman for the ZANACO Pic. Board.

He is the current Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Law Association of Zambia. He is former President of ZICA.

Chintu has served on two Commissions of Inquiry appointed by the late His Excellence President of the Republic of Zambia Mr MC Sata (MHSRIP).

One was to investigate the National Pension Schemes Authority's transaction to purchase a piece of land from Meanwood Property Development Limited and the other was to inquire into the operations of the Zambia National Building Society.

Whilst at ZNOC, Chintu reconciled all taxes due to ZRA starting from import levy to VAT, PAYE and income tax.

Fortunately the current Commissioner General was one of the team members he interacted with.

He also served as Chairman for the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) Monitoring Team comprising various professional bodies that carried out inspections to various sites for disbursements made by the Ministry of Finance and the cooperating partners. The report published contributed to the write of the country's debt.

Chintu was recently the lead consultant on the Zambia Revenue Authority drafting of the audit sector notes for the Zambia Construction and the Zambia Wholesale and Retail sectors, which was successfully completed in November 2016.

He has the technical knowhow of the accounting, financial systems, transaction flow analysis and the general control environment operations of a wide range of industries from mining, banking and financial services, manufacturing. agriculture etc.

He also has a wide experience in auditing, financial and management accounting, forensic investigations, merchant and commercial banking, management consultancy, project management, taxation and leadership.

Chintu provides engagement oversight and direction for firm assignments.
